“DEFEND THE SACRED”
An interactive installation that reflects the vital essence of women: divine water. The Kemetic Goddess Nut holds up the sky and is the essence of consciousness and creation is the portal through which heavenly water flows into the crown chakra of a reflection of Durga, the eight armed Hindu mother goddess. Each of her arms represents some elements of the Pan African pantheon, including Ifa’s Yemaja, Oshun, Oya, as well as Maat, all conjuring the warrior essence. In the pool of water that flows from her Hands of Fatima are the examples of international efforts to defend this sacred from the current political and economic affronts on water. Let this piece remind us of our divinity and calls us to take action, through thought, word and deed to Defend the Sacred. Drop your wish into the well and forward this Divine Revolution. |
