In the age of “Black Lives Matter” and the openly racist anti-immigrant U.S. presidential administration, we must intentionally build healthy, resilient, and capable family units that can protect our youth from the impacts of institutional, interpersonal, and internalized racism. The time is now for asserting Black & Brown families into the forefront of this movement for social justice, safety, and sustainability. Therefore, Spearitwurx offers the Powerful Parent Workshop Series to continue to that engage parents and youth of color in developing tools, sharing resources, and building authentic connections that build resiliency, conjure safety, and demand self-sustainability and self-determination
